I have traveled to China many times over past 20 years and the changes and modernization are almost beyond belief. However, even more amazing from the point of view of the travel photographer is the simple enormity of the potential.
What I mean by potential is that there are still a large number incredible places and things to see in China, that are barely mentioned in any guide book. I guess the physical size of China partly explains this, but it is also because some places remain like islands in time, barely feeling the influence of the outside world.
Anyway, in my next blog posts I will post some images from China and talk about some the places I visited.
